Snohomish County stretches from the Puget Sound waterfronts of Edmonds, Mukilteo and Everett through river valleys and into the Cascade foothills. Washington’s Office of Financial Management estimates Snohomish County’s population at 879,700 as of April 1, 2026, compared with 827,957 in the 2020 Census. The county includes 20 incorporated cities and towns, along with unincorporated communities.
